Review of Northern Territory DMO Billing Project

Brief description:

On behalf of the Commonwealth and Queensland Health, undertake a review of the bulk billing arrangements under sub section 19(2) of the Health Insurance Act 1973. The execution of the project requires:

• Identification of strategies to address barriers to Medicare billing in QLD Health services through key informant interviews with key stakeholders, community members and Queensland Health staff at a corporate, district and community level

• Analysis of data to estimate increases in access to primary health care services provided to Indigenous people as a result of the project

• Development of recommendations
