Review the impact of the Practice Nurse Initiative, and develop and disseminate a series of business case models to assist general practices in their assessment of the benefits and implications of employing a practice nurse

Assess the common features of existing business cases from a select group of Divisions of General Practice across Australia, who have undertaken work in this area

Identify the optimal structure for the proposed business cases

Verify the applicability of the key elements of the proposed business cases to general practice

Develop business cases based on benchmark data, and data gathered at practice level, and

Disseminate the final business cases to all Divisions of General Practices, State Based organizations, and other key stakeholders
