Brief description:

The aim of the survey was to learn about nurses’ and midwives’ access to education, and how they view the effectiveness, efficiency and appropriateness of the nursing and midwifery education and training provided in the Northern Territory.  The review was undertaken by RhED Consulting Pty Ltd in collaboration with Kristine Battye Consulting Pty Ltd

Outcome:

• Evaluated the access to, and coordination and integration of, nursing and midwifery education and training across the Northern Territory, including studies assistance
• Made recommendations on the future of nursing and midwifery education and training across the NT, providing for a contemporary workforce and integration across education and health, government and non-government sectors
