Brief description:

To develop a Health Advocacy Strategy for CENTROC as part of the organisation’s role to provide advocacy and improve health service delivery to the 16 Local Government Areas of Central NSW

Outcome:

• Consultation with participating councils and local stakeholders to identify gaps in health services, barriers and opportunities for immediate improvements

• Development of preferred options to develop a sustainable local health workforce and identify cost or policy changes required to implement these options

• Recommendations for activities to achieve immediate and longer term aims
