Client: Australian Divisions of General Practice
Review the impact of the Practice Nurse Initiative, and develop and
disseminate a series of business case models to assist general practices
in their assessment of the benefits and implications of employing a practice
nurse.

Brief description:

Assess the common features of existing business cases
from a select group of Divisions of General Practice across Australia,
who have undertaken
work in this area,

Identify the optimal structure for the proposed business cases,
-
Verify the applicability of the key elements of the proposed business
cases to general practice,
-
Develop business cases based on benchmark data, and data gathered at
practice level, and
-
Disseminate the final business cases, to all Divisions of General Practices,
State Based organizations, and other key stakeholders.
