Brief description:

• Preparation of briefing paper for distribution to members of each association detailing reasons for amalgamation, benefits and risks to each organizations

• Preparation of draft rules for new association

• Identification of interim officers

• Convene meetings of associations to vote on proposed resolution to amalgamate

• Preparation and lodgement of application to amalgamate to the Office Of Fair Trading

Outcome:

Amalgamation of the associations achieved 26th June 2003.
