Project: Evaluation of the integrated Family Wellbeing service model in Coonamble, the Coonamble Family Wellbeing Project. This project evolved out of the development of the COAG Murdi Paaki Family Wellbeing and Family Violence Health Strategy.

Timeline: Nov 2008 – Oct 2009 (estimated completion)

Project Aim:

To evaluate the development and trialling of a flexible integrated and holistic approaches to family services, with a particular emphasis on Drug and Alcohol services, through improving the interface between relevant sectors and organisations, and providing linkages to services for clients.

Requirements of the project:

  • Formulation of a program logic and service model to underpin the Coonamble Wellbeing Project

  • Development of an action research evaluation framework/program to facilitate the rapid implementation of the service and ensure an ongoing quality improvement framework covering 4 domains: linkages and access to services; family outcomes; community needs and key components of the model

  • 6 monthly review due April 2009 and Sept 2009, with Evaluation report due Oct 2009.
