KBC Pty Ltd works with the Health Workforce Queensland
Research team and local communities seeking assistance in the development
and implementation
of new or alternative models of health service delivery. The
requests from communities are often through local government and
at a time when
health service delivery is close to crisis point.
To date new models have addressed:

Provision of general practice and acute hospital services
in small remote communities (Cloncurry and Moura)

Remote nursing services in the Diamantina Shire (Birdsville and Bedourie)

Provision of procedural and acute hospital services through the development
of a regional training hub located in south-west Queensland

Commencement of planning and modelling for effective and sustainable
maternity services in the Central Highlands/ Emerald region
of Central Queensland
